Full Service Design Package vs. Virtual/E Design Package - Which is for you?

We find that a lot of people ask about which of one our design packages is best for them. We are going to walk you through the major differences between these two packages as well as major highlights for each. Let's dive in!
Full Service and Virtual/E-design packages both accomplish the same things - but in different ways.
Full Service Design Package Highlights:
Complimentary 1 hour in-home consultations
We handle your project from A to Z from measurements to delivery day. We will come to measure your space and take photos. We will create a fully customizable design plan from furniture options to casegoods, decor, drapery, etc. Clients have the option to have our team directly handle the white glove delivery and installation process where we do a final big "room reveal" day for our client, OR the client can choose to deal with our third-party concierge service who will manage, track, and handle all of their orders and any claim processes. Items can be drop-shipped to their front door or they can choose a white glove delivery option on items they choose.
We offer endless customization options. If you can think it, we can make it. We also offer ready-made options as well.
You receive one-on-one help from a qualified designer including necessary in-home visits, in person presentations (if you so chose), as well as fabric and finish samples for furniture items you're interested in
We create your design from trade-only vendors that are mostly inaccessible to the general public which allows a truly customized look. This means we do not work with retail shops such as Pottery Barn, West Elm, etc. but we can find better quality pieces that have the same look and are even better. *If the client desires for us to source from retail shops, any items that are sourced from these shops will be ordered/tracked/delivered directly by the client.
Client budgets tend to be more flexible for this option
How the design process works for Full Service Design
We offer a complimentary 1 hour consultation if you're considering this package. We will come to your home, see your space, and walk you through how we work and what to expect. If you agree to work with us, we will take measurements, photos and ask you a series of questions regarding your budget, needs, wants, and desires.

We do extensive research to create a concept board for you and to present several different options for each major piece of furniture. A floor plan is included which also shows you different layouts and configurations for your space. In this stage, we include everything in the design from A to Z such as flooring suggestions, drapery suggestions, furniture selections, paint colors and anything else you desire based on your personal design style. If there are any changes that need to be made, we will revise the concept board to make sure it matches what you're looking for.
Once the concept is agreed upon, we will then offer high-quality 3D renderings to help you visualize the space.
Afterward, we place your order for you, manage and track your whole order and deal with any claim issues. Everything is sent to our professional white glove delivery service where they unbox, unwrap in inspect each item in detail. If there is any damage to an item, it gets replaced on our expense. *If the client chooses to order through our third party ordering service, they can pick and choose which items they want to have white-glove delivered or drop shipped to their door. The Concierge team will track, manage, and handle any claim issues as well as schedule delivery.
Once a delivery date is scheduled, we coordinate everything for you. We ask you to give us several hours depending on how big your project is to install and set everything up. It's typical that our clients will leave home for several hours while our team comes in and sets everything up to be photo ready. Once you return, everything is ready and picture-perfect! *If the client chooses to order through our third party ordering service, there wouldn't be a "big reveal day," but rather items are shipped directly to them as they become available.
Virtual/E-Design Package Highlights:
We can work with any type of budget for this design package
This package is a more "hands on" approach where the client takes measurements of their space and sends them to us. This package is great for clients located outside of Michigan (*Please note, our team does travel as well! If you're interested in a larger design project, contact us and we can give you a quote).
You can order anything you want on your timeframe without limitations. Clients can choose to work with any online vendors they wish and either order on their own, or have their items ordered, tracked, and managed. Please note: *The concierge team only tracks and manages orders from vendors we have partnered with. They will track, manage, and set up delivery and handle any claim issues in your behalf on items ordered from our vendor partners.
All meetings take place via zoom
We can source and use any retail shop you desire or work within our designer brands. Do you like Pottery Barn? West Elm? Target? No problem, we can source from them
How the design process works for Virtual/E-Design:
We start off with a detailed zoom meeting to discuss and see your space. You will send us photos and measurements of your space and we will talk about your needs, desires and wants. (Photo below taken by client).
We do our research and create a detailed concept board - similar to that of the Full Service Design Package. We can suggest floor color, wall color, drapery, and anything else you need.
We give a presentation online together discussing everything. This part of the process is the similar to the Full Service Design Package where we will show you different floorplan configurations. If any changes or refinements are needed, we will make a revision for you.
Once you approve of everything, we will send you a shoppable list where you can click on links to see each item on your concept board and to purchase on your own. OR if you choose, we will send you a shopping list to order directly with our third-party concierge service. 3D Renderings are also included at this point. You can order anything and everything you want just as you would if you were ordering online. This package is meant to give you the design idea and access to products or similar products that you can purchase according to your desires.
So which is right for you?
If you want - A more customized look, a "hands-on" designer approach, have a flexible budget, want high-quality furniture made to last, and don't mind waiting, then go for the Full Service Design Package.
If you want - A faster timeframe, have a lower budget, prefer to "Do It Yourself" and don't mind ordering and installing certain things on your own, then go for the Virtual/E-Design Package.
